AUBURN, Ala. - The Charlotte and Curtis Ward Bicycle Trail along Shell Toomer Parkway is expected to be closed for approximately three months beginning May 26 for repairs and resurfacing. The trail will be closed completely to pedestrians and cyclists throughout the work.

Repairs will be made to the wooden boardwalk and the asphalt trail in areas that have been damaged by tree root intrusion. Once repairs are made, the entire trail will be resurfaced.

We do not anticipate disruption of access to adjacent residential and commercial properties during this work.
